Traction

It is all about traction when out in the dirt. Recently I came across the following description concerning a mountain bike tire -
"
GRIPS BETTER THAN A 3 WEEK STARVED BOA CONSTRICTOR IN A PRE-SCHOOL PLAYGROUND AT RECESS!!! I'M CONVINCED THAT THIS TIRE HAS LITTLE MAGNETS IN IT THAT PULL TOWARDS THE EARTH'S CORE."

There you go Pants Armstrong, you can't write anything like that concerning your road tires, so give it a shot, and come ride on the dirt with Pete and I, and join in the upcoming
IBPMBR, or Independent Baptist Preachers Mountain Bike Race, for those who missed the announcement.

  1. That is just horrible sounding. A constrictor loose in a preschool. You boys are just you uncaring and cold some times. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. George and I don't mind you playing with your bicycles in the dirt, as long as you stay off the streets and don't say bad things about recess.

  2. Aunt Mildred, it was simply a quote that someone else has made, no offense was meant toward recess, snakes, children, or your husband's lousy driving habits.

  3. I think your all nuts! :)

  4. I am with Mrs. McKinley, that is to the though that you all are nuts, except for my dear wife Mildred. I challenge any of you cyclists to a race. Pick your bicycle, and I in my Mercury Grand Marquis. That ought to silence your derogatory comments concerning my driving.

  5. Sure George, join us in the race this spring. Bring that Mercury along, no chance it will keep up with me on this route we have chosen. You have certainly shot your mouth off this time.

  6. Yea, couldn't you see a Mercury Grand Marquis trying to make it over the ridge and through the canyon along the power lines Pete? It would be another one of the abandoned cars we see out in the wilderness. I know why they are out there now, a group from AARP had a race from Bullhead City to Golden Valley, on dirt. Is that true George?

  7. I would rather they took dirt than riding up highway 68 over Union Pass with all their RV's. What a horrible bunch of drivers, paying little attention to what is on the road. I will say this for you two dirt riders, at least you don't have to put up with auto drivers.

  8. Well Pants, now you are starting to see why we would rather ride mountain bikes than road bicycles. Quieter also.
