OK men, just to let you know. Serious surgery will be performed on the Monocog soon.
No, don't pray, its only a bicycle. But the procedure would be the equivalent to open heart surgery on a person. Without this certain part, there would be no life for the bicycle. So while the Monocog is down, the Trek is providing valuable back up service.
I just thought you men that share this site with me would want to know why you have not seen the cog' out in the dirt.

So did the BB finally give out. Not bad for cheap OEM stuff, Redline does a good job on those.

Yea, the BB gave out on the non drive side. I have another Truvativ GXP BB sitting around along with a 180mm SS crank to use. So it should really be a nice upgrade. Curious to see how the longer crank arms feel on that bicycle.

I only have high blood pressure when I start reading the ridiculous posts you three cyclists come up with. Comparing your bicycle to a human heart patient, almost seems like hate speech. Hopefully that hate crime bill will be passed soon, and this kind of material can be banned.

George and I have been lifetime Democrats, ever since we met on the Iron Range. George was a leader in the unions when he worked in the mines. We truly are Americans, just not the type like you three.

ReplyDeleteThe surgery was a sucess. After quite an effort, the BB gave loose. 4500 miles can really get a piece stuck in there, but using the cheater bar it finally moved. Now for the new piece, but that will have to wait. See the latest post.
