What did you expect?

Maybe our elected officials will some day be able to understand that you cannot continue on the untenable course of going farther into debt without consequences. But as they say, the chickens are coming home to roost. But lets go back to what the final authority in all matters said about money.

"The love of money is the root of all evil"
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth"

For those that do not love money, and have not laid up treasures on earth, in their attempt to one day retire, and live off the excess, (see Luke 12:16-20) this day was just like any other. But the children of this world suffered because of their love for this world and its riches.

Why not next time follow the words of the Lord Jesus?

What happened?

Well I just came to, and I could not believe what I saw when I looked out the window. It is all green. Hardly any brown to be seen. The last I remember I was riding down this big hill and then off a jump, and next thing the calendar shows many months have passed, and I awake in this flat, green, at times cloudy area. Someone fill me in.
