Maybe our elected officials will some day be able to understand that you cannot continue on the untenable course of going farther into debt without consequences. But as they say, the chickens are coming home to roost. But lets go back to what the final authority in all matters said about money.
"The love of money is the root of all evil"
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth"
For those that do not love money, and have not laid up treasures on earth, in their attempt to one day retire, and live off the excess, (see Luke 12:16-20) this day was just like any other. But the children of this world suffered because of their love for this world and its riches.
Why not next time follow the words of the Lord Jesus?

ReplyDeleteI am up in Silver Bay, MN. It is one of my Lake Superior shootings. I am filming the various iron ore boats as they come in, and then comparing the current shipping trends to what took place 100 years ago. I think some of the results will surprise my viewers.
